COLLEGE STATION CHINESE CHURCH Position Announcement: Pastor The College Station Chinese Church (CSCC) is seeking a full-time Pastor to shepherd the congregation. The CSCC is located in College Station, Texas, home of the Texas A&M University. Established in 1976, the CSCC is an evangelistic, Bible-based, non-denominational church.  We minister to families with Chinese background (coming from mainland China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Taiwan, and other southeastern Asian areas). We use both English and Chinese as languages for services. Typically, attendance in Sunday services fluctuates from 50 to 120. Role & Responsibilities 

  • Preaching on pulpit on Sunday worship service
  • Teaching adult Sunday school
  • Equipping and providing support to ministry leaders such as youth group, Sunday School teachers, and home group leaders
  • Leading a small group when needed
  • Equipping and empowering lay leaders
  • Visitation of members and visitors
  • Counseling members of the congregation
 Qualifications The successful candidate must be a loving and devoted Christian with spiritual depth, vision, integrity and leadership; must be a graduate of an accredited bible college or seminary; possesses good communication skills and is able to work with members with diverse backgrounds; must be fluent in spoken and written English (preferably in Chinese as well).  Preferences will be given to a candidate with two or more years of pastoral experience in North America, especially with experience in Chinese American churches. It is also preferable that the successful candidate be ordained and married.
