1:1 [hb5] 以色列人出埃及地後、第二年二月初一日、耶和華在西乃的曠野、會幕中曉諭摩西說、

    [kjv] And the LORD spake unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the tabernacle of the congregation, on the first day of the second month, in the second year after they were come out of the land of Egypt, saying,

    [bbe] And the Lord said to Moses in the waste land of Sinai, in the Tent of meeting, on the first day of the second month, in the second year after they came out of the land of Egypt,

1:2 [hb5] 你要按以色列全會眾的家室、宗族、人名的數目計算所有的男丁。

    [kjv] Take ye the sum of all the congregation of the children of Israel, after their families, by the house of their fathers, with the number of their names, every male by their polls;

    [bbe] Take the full number of the children of Israel, by their families, and by their fathers' houses, every male by name;

1:3 [hb5] 凡以色列中、從二十歲以外、能出去打仗的、你和亞倫要照他們的軍隊數點。

    [kjv] From twenty years old and upward, all that are able to go forth to war in Israel: thou and Aaron shall number them by their armies.

    [bbe] All those of twenty years old and over, who are able to go to war in Israel, are to be numbered by you and Aaron.

1:4 [hb5] 每支派中、必有一人作本支派的族長、幫助你們．

    [kjv] And with you there shall be a man of every tribe; every one head of the house of his fathers.

    [bbe] And to give you help, take one man from every tribe, the head of his father's house.

1:5 [hb5] 他們的名字、屬流便的、有示丟珥的兒子以利蓿．

    [kjv] And these are the names of the men that shall stand with you: of the tribe of Reuben; Elizur the son of Shedeur.

    [bbe] These are the names of those who are to be your helpers: from Reuben, Elizur, the son of Shedeur;

1:6 [hb5] 屬西緬的、有蘇利沙代的兒子示路蔑．

    [kjv] Of Simeon; Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.

    [bbe] From Simeon, Shelumiel, the son of Zurishaddai;

1:7 [hb5] 屬猶大的、有亞米拿達的兒子拿順．

    [kjv] Of Judah; Nahshon the son of Amminadab.

    [bbe] From Judah, Nahshon, the son of Amminadab;

1:8 [hb5] 屬以薩迦的、有蘇押的兒子拿坦業．

    [kjv] Of Issachar; Nethaneel the son of Zuar.

    [bbe] From Issachar, Nethanel, the son of Zuar;

1:9 [hb5] 屬西布倫的、有希倫的兒子以利押。

    [kjv] Of Zebulun; Eliab the son of Helon.

    [bbe] From Zebulun, Eliab, the son of Helon;

1:10 [hb5] 約瑟子孫屬以法蓮的、有亞米忽的兒子以利沙瑪．屬瑪拿西的、有比大蓿的兒子迦瑪列．

    [kjv] Of the children of Joseph: of Ephraim; Elishama the son of Ammihud: of Manasseh; Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur.

    [bbe] Of the children of Joseph: from Ephraim, Elishama, the son of Ammihud; from Manasseh, Gamaliel, the son of Pedahzur,

1:11 [hb5] 屬便雅憫的、有基多尼的兒子亞比但．

    [kjv] Of Benjamin; Abidan the son of Gideoni.

    [bbe] From Benjamin, Abidan, the son of Gideoni;

1:12 [hb5] 屬但的、有亞米沙代的兒子亞希以謝．

    [kjv] Of Dan; Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.

    [bbe] From Dan, Ahiezer, the son of Ammi-shaddai;

1:13 [hb5] 屬亞設的、有俄蘭的兒子帕結．

    [kjv] Of Asher; Pagiel the son of Ocran.

    [bbe] From Asher, Pagiel, the son of Ochran;

1:14 [hb5] 屬迦得的、有丟珥的兒子以利雅薩．

    [kjv] Of Gad; Eliasaph the son of Deuel.

    [bbe] From Gad, Eliasaph, the son of Reuel;

1:15 [hb5] 屬拿弗他利的、有以南的兒子亞希拉。

    [kjv] Of Naphtali; Ahira the son of Enan.

    [bbe] From Naphtali, Ahira, the son of Enan.

1:16 [hb5] 這都是從會中選召的、各作本支派的首領、都是以色列軍中的統領。

    [kjv] These were the renowned of the congregation, princes of the tribes of their fathers, heads of thousands in Israel.

    [bbe] These are the men named out of all the people, chiefs of their fathers' houses, heads of the tribes of Israel.

1:17 [hb5] 於是摩西亞倫帶著這些按名指定的人、

    [kjv] And Moses and Aaron took these men which are expressed by their names:

    [bbe] And Moses and Aaron took these men, marked out by name;

1:18 [hb5] 當二月初一日招聚全會眾。會眾就照他們的家室、宗族、人名的數目、從二十歲以外的、都述說自己的家譜。

    [kjv] And they assembled all the congregation together on the first day of the second month, and they declared their pedigrees after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, by their polls.

    [bbe] And they got together all the people on the first day of the second month; and everyone made clear his family and his father's house, by the number of the names, from twenty years old and over.

1:19 [hb5] 耶和華怎樣吩咐摩西、他就怎樣在西乃的曠野數點他們。

    [kjv] As the LORD commanded Moses, so he numbered them in the wilderness of Sinai.

    [bbe] As the Lord had given orders to Moses, so they were numbered by him in the waste place of Sinai.

1:20 [hb5] 以色列的長子、流便子孫的後代、照著家室、宗族、人名的數目、從二十歲以外、凡能出去打仗被數的男丁、共有四萬六千五百名。

    [kjv] And the children of Reuben, Israel's eldest son, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, by their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

    [bbe] The generations of the sons of Reuben, the oldest son of Israel, were numbered by their families and their fathers' houses, every male of twenty years old and over, who was able to go to war;

    [kjv] Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Reuben, were forty and six thousand and five hundred.

    [bbe] Forty-six thousand, five hundred of the tribe of Reuben were numbered.

1:22 [hb5] 西緬子孫的後代、照著家室、宗族、人名的數目、從二十歲以外、凡能出去打仗被數的男丁、共有五萬九千三百名。

    [kjv] Of the children of Simeon, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, those that were numbered of them, according to the number of the names, by their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

    [bbe] The generations of the sons of Simeon were numbered by their families and their fathers' houses, every male of twenty years old and over, who was able to go to war;

    [kjv] Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Simeon, were fifty and nine thousand and three hundred.

    [bbe] Fifty-nine thousand, three hundred of the tribe of Simeon were numbered.

1:24 [hb5] 迦得子孫的後代、照著家室、宗族、人名的數目、從二十歲以外、凡能出去打仗被數的、共有四萬五千六百五十名。

    [kjv] Of the children of Gad, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

    [bbe] The generations of the sons of Gad were numbered by their families and their fathers' houses, every male of twenty years old and over who was able to go to war;

    [kjv] Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Gad, were forty and five thousand six hundred and fifty.

    [bbe] Forty-five thousand, six hundred and fifty of the tribe of Gad were numbered.

1:26 [hb5] 猶大子孫的後代、照著家室、宗族、人名的數目、從二十歲以外、凡能出去打仗被數的、共有七萬四千六百名。

    [kjv] Of the children of Judah, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

    [bbe] The generations of the sons of Judah were numbered by their families and their fathers' houses, every male of twenty years old and over who was able to go to war;

    [kjv] Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Judah, were threescore and fourteen thousand and six hundred.

    [bbe] Seventy-four thousand, six hundred of the tribe of Judah were numbered.

1:28 [hb5] 以薩迦子孫的後代、照著家室、宗族、人名的數目、從二十歲以外、凡能出去打仗被數的、共有五萬四千四百名。

    [kjv] Of the children of Issachar, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

    [bbe] The generations of the sons of Issachar were numbered by their families and their fathers' houses, every male of twenty years old and over who was able to go to war;

    [kjv] Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Issachar, were fifty and four thousand and four hundred.

    [bbe] Fifty-four thousand, four hundred of the tribe of Issachar were numbered.

1:30 [hb5] 西布倫子孫的後代、照著家室、宗族、人名的數目、從二十歲以外、凡能出去打仗被數的、共有五萬七千四百名。

    [kjv] Of the children of Zebulun, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

    [bbe] The generations of the sons of Zebulun were numbered by their families and their fathers' houses, every male of twenty years old and over who was able to go to war;

    [kjv] Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Zebulun, were fifty and seven thousand and four hundred.

    [bbe] Fifty-seven thousand, four hundred of the tribe of Zebulun were numbered.

1:32 [hb5] 約瑟子孫屬以法蓮子孫的後代、照著家室、宗族、人名的數目、從二十歲以外、凡能出去打仗被數的、共有四萬零五百名。

    [kjv] Of the children of Joseph, namely, of the children of Ephraim, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

    [bbe] The generations of the sons of Joseph were numbered by their families and their fathers' houses, every male of twenty years old and over who was able to go to war;

    [kjv] Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Ephraim, were forty thousand and five hundred.

    [bbe] Forty thousand, five hundred of the tribe of Ephraim were numbered.

1:34 [hb5] 瑪拿西子孫的後代、照著家室、宗族、人名的數目、從二十歲以外、凡能出去打仗被數的、共有三萬二千二百名。

    [kjv] Of the children of Manasseh, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

    [bbe] The generations of the sons of Manasseh were numbered by their families and their fathers' houses, every male of twenty years old and over who was able to go to war;

    [kjv] Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Manasseh, were thirty and two thousand and two hundred.

    [bbe] Thirty-two thousand, two hundred of the tribe of Manasseh were numbered.

1:36 [hb5] 便雅憫子孫的後代、照著家室、宗族、人名的數目、從二十歲以外、凡能出去打仗被數的、共有三萬五千四百名。

    [kjv] Of the children of Benjamin, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

    [bbe] The generations of the sons of Benjamin were numbered by their families and their fathers' houses, every male of twenty years old and over who was able to go to war;

    [kjv] Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Benjamin, were thirty and five thousand and four hundred.

1:38 [hb5] 但子孫的後代、照著家室、宗族、人名的數目、從二十歲以外、凡能出去打仗被數的、共有六萬二千七百名。

    [kjv] Of the children of Dan, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

    [bbe] The generations of the sons of Dan were numbered by their families and their fathers' houses, every male of twenty years and over who was able to go to war;

    [kjv] Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Dan, were threescore and two thousand and seven hundred.

    [bbe] Sixty-two thousand, seven hundred of the tribe of Dan were numbered.

1:40 [hb5] 亞設子孫的後代、照著家室、宗族、人名的數目、從二十歲以外、凡能出去打仗被數的、共有四萬一千五百名。

    [kjv] Of the children of Asher, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

    [bbe] The generations of the sons of Asher were numbered by their families and their fathers' houses, every male of twenty years old and over who was able to go to war;

    [kjv] Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Asher, were forty and one thousand and five hundred.

    [bbe] Forty-one thousand, five hundred of the tribe of Asher were numbered.

1:42 [hb5] 拿弗他利子孫的後代、照著家室、宗族、人名的數目、從二十歲以外、凡能出去打仗被數的、共有五萬三千四百名。

    [kjv] Of the children of Naphtali, throughout their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

    [bbe] The generations of the sons of Naphtali were numbered by their families and their fathers' houses, every male of twenty years old and over who was able to go to war;

1:43 [hb5] 見上節

    [kjv] Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Naphtali, were fifty and three thousand and four hundred.

    [bbe] Fifty-three thousand, four hundred of the tribe of Naphtali were numbered.

1:44 [hb5] 這些就是被數點的、是摩西亞倫、和以色列中十二個首領所數點的．這十二個人各作各宗族的代表。

    [kjv] These are those that were numbered, which Moses and Aaron numbered, and the princes of Israel, being twelve men: each one was for the house of his fathers.

    [bbe] These are they who were numbered by Moses and Aaron and by the twelve chiefs of Israel, one from every tribe.

1:45 [hb5] 這樣凡以色列人中被數的、照著宗族從二十歲以外、能出去打仗被數的、共有六十萬零三千五百五十名。

    [kjv] So were all those that were numbered of the children of Israel, by the house of their fathers, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war in Israel;

    [bbe] So all those who were numbered of the children of Israel, by their families, all those of twenty years old and over who were able to go to war,

1:46 [hb5] 見上節

    [kjv] Even all they that were numbered were six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.

    [bbe] Were six hundred and three thousand, five hundred and fifty.

1:47 [hb5] 利未人卻沒有按著支派數在其中、

    [kjv] But the Levites after the tribe of their fathers were not numbered among them.

    [bbe] But the Levites, of the tribe of their fathers, were not numbered among them.

1:48 [hb5] 因為耶和華曉諭摩西說、

    [kjv] For the LORD had spoken unto Moses, saying,

    [bbe] For the Lord said to Moses,

1:49 [hb5] 惟獨利未支派你不可數點、也不可在以色列人中計算他們的總數。

    [kjv] Only thou shalt not number the tribe of Levi, neither take the sum of them among the children of Israel:

    [bbe] Only the tribe of Levi is not to be numbered among the children of Israel,

1:50 [hb5] 只要派利未人管法櫃的帳幕和其中的器具、並屬乎帳幕的、他們要抬〔抬或作搬運〕帳幕和其中的器具、並要辦理帳幕的事．在帳幕的四圍安營。

    [kjv] But thou shalt appoint the Levites over the tabernacle of testimony, and over all the vessels thereof, and over all things that belong to it: they shall bear the tabernacle, and all the vessels thereof; and they shall minister unto it, and shall encamp round about the tabernacle.

    [bbe] But to them you are to give the care of the Tent of meeting with its vessels and everything in it: they are to take up the Tent, and be responsible for everything to do with it, and put up their tents round it.

1:51 [hb5] 帳幕將往前行的時候、利未人要拆卸、將支搭的時候、利未人要豎起．近前來的外人必被治死。

    [kjv] And when the tabernacle setteth forward, the Levites shall take it down: and when the tabernacle is to be pitched, the Levites shall set it up: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.

    [bbe] And when the Tent of meeting goes forward, the Levites are to take it down; and when it is to be put up, they are to do it: any strange person who comes near it is to be put to death.

1:52 [hb5] 以色列人支搭帳棚、要照他們的軍隊、各歸本營、各歸本纛。

    [kjv] And the children of Israel shall pitch their tents, every man by his own camp, and every man by his own standard, throughout their hosts.

    [bbe] The children of Israel are to put up their tents, every man in his tent-circle round his flag.

1:53 [hb5] 但利未人要在法櫃帳幕的四圍安營、免得忿怒臨到以色列會眾．利未人並要謹守法櫃的帳幕。

    [kjv] But the Levites shall pitch round about the tabernacle of testimony, that there be no wrath upon the congregation of the children of Israel: and the Levites shall keep the charge of the tabernacle of testimony.

    [bbe] But the tents of the Levites are to be round the Tent of meeting, so that wrath may not come on the children of Israel: the Tent of meeting is to be in the care of the Levites.

1:54 [hb5] 以色列人就這樣行．凡耶和華所吩咐摩西的、他們就照樣行了。

    [kjv] And the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did they.

    [bbe] So the children of Israel did as the Lord had given orders to Moses.

	[kjv]	But thou shalt appoint the Levites over the tabernacle of testimony, and over all the vessels thereof, and over all things that belong to it: they shall bear the tabernacle, and all the vessels thereof; and they shall minister unto it, and shall encamp round about the tabernacle.
	[bbe]	But to them you are to give the care of the Tent of meeting with its vessels and everything in it: they are to take up the Tent, and be responsible for everything to do with it, and put up their tents round it.

	[kjv]	And when the tabernacle setteth forward, the Levites shall take it down: and when the tabernacle is to be pitched, the Levites shall set it up: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.
	[bbe]	And when the Tent of meeting goes forward, the Levites are to take it down; and when it is to be put up, they are to do it: any strange person who comes near it is to be put to death.

1:53	[hb5]	但利未人要在法櫃帳幕的四圍安營、免得忿怒臨到以色列會眾．利未人並要謹守法櫃的帳幕。
	[kjv]	But the Levites shall pitch round about the tabernacle of testimony, that there be no wrath upon the congregation of the children of Israel: and the Levites shall keep the charge of the tabernacle of testimony.
	[bbe]	But the tents of the Levites are to be round the Tent of meeting, so that wrath may not come on the children of Israel: the Tent of meeting is to be in the care of the Levites.
1:54	[hb5]	以色列人就這樣行．凡耶和華所吩咐摩西的、他們就照樣行了。
	[kjv]	And the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did they.
