1:1 [hb5] 當烏西雅、約坦、亞哈斯、希西家、作猶大王的時候、亞摩斯的兒子以賽亞得默示、論到猶大、和耶路撒冷。

    [kjv] The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah.

    [bbe] The vision of Isaiah, the son of Amoz, which he saw about Judah and Jerusalem, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah.

1:2 [hb5] 天哪、要聽、地阿、側耳而聽．因為耶和華說、我養育兒女、將他們養大、他們竟悖逆我。

    [kjv] Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the LORD hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me.

    [bbe] Give ear, O heavens, and you, O earth, to the word which the Lord has said: I have taken care of my children till they became men, but their hearts have been turned away from me.

1:3 [hb5] 牛認識主人、驢認識主人的槽．以色列卻不認識、我的民卻不留意。

    [kjv] The ox knoweth his owner, and the ass his master's crib: but Israel doth not know, my people doth not consider.

    [bbe] Even the ox has knowledge of its owner, and the ass of the place where its master puts its food: but Israel has no knowledge, my people give no thought to me.

1:4 [hb5] 嗐、犯罪的國民、擔著罪孽的百姓、行惡的種類、敗壞的兒女．他們離棄耶和華、藐視以色列的聖者、與他生疏、往後退步。

    [kjv] Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward.

    [bbe] O nation full of sin, a people weighted down with crime, a generation of evil-doers, false-hearted children: they have gone away from the Lord, they have no respect for the Holy One of Israel, their hearts are turned back from him.

1:5 [hb5] 你們為甚麼屢次悖逆、還要受責打麼。你們已經滿頭疼痛、全心發昏。

    [kjv] Why should ye be stricken any more? ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint.

    [bbe] Why will you have more and more punishment? why keep on in your evil ways? Every head is tired and every heart is feeble.

1:6 [hb5] 從腳掌到頭頂、沒有一處完全的．盡是傷口、青腫、與新打的傷痕．都沒有收口、沒有纏裹、也沒有用膏滋潤。

    [kjv] From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and putrifying sores: they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment.

    [bbe] The body, from head to foot, is all diseased; it is a mass of open wounds, marks of blows, and broken flesh: the flow of blood has not been stopped, and no oil has been put on the wounds.

1:7 [hb5] 你們的地土已經荒涼．你們的城邑被火焚毀．你們的田地、在你們眼前為外邦人所侵吞、既被外邦人傾覆、就成為荒涼。

    [kjv] Your country is desolate, your cities are burned with fire: your land, strangers devour it in your presence, and it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers.

    [bbe] Your country has become waste; your towns are burned with fire; as for your land, it is overturned before your eyes, made waste and overcome by men from strange lands.

1:8 [hb5] 僅存錫安城、〔城原文作女子〕好像葡萄園的草棚、瓜田的茅屋、被圍困的城邑。

    [kjv] And the daughter of Zion is left as a cottage in a vineyard, as a lodge in a garden of cucumbers, as a besieged city.

    [bbe] And the daughter of Zion has become like a tent in a vine-garden, like a watchman's house in a field of fruit, like a town shut in by armies.

1:9 [hb5] 若不是萬軍之耶和華給我們稍留餘種、我們早已像所多瑪、蛾摩拉的樣子了。

    [kjv] Except the LORD of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as Sodom, and we should have been like unto Gomorrah.

    [bbe] If the Lord of armies had not kept some at least of us safe, we would have been like Sodom, and the fate of Gomorrah would have been ours.

1:10 [hb5] 你們這所多瑪的官長阿、要聽耶和華的話．你們這蛾摩拉的百姓阿、要側耳聽我們　神的訓誨。

    [kjv] Hear the word of the LORD, ye rulers of Sodom; give ear unto the law of our God, ye people of Gomorrah.

    [bbe] Give ear to the word of the Lord, you rulers of Sodom; let your hearts be turned to the law of our God, you people of Gomorrah.

1:11 [hb5] 耶和華說、你們所獻的許多祭物、與我何益呢．公綿羊的燔祭、、和肥畜的脂油、我已經夠了．公牛的血、羊羔的血、公山羊的血、我都不喜悅。

    [kjv] To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the LORD: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats.

    [bbe] What use to me is the number of the offerings which you give me? says the Lord; your burned offerings of sheep, and the best parts of fat cattle, are a weariness to me; I take no pleasure in the blood of oxen, or of lambs, or of he-goats.

1:12 [hb5] 你們來朝見我、誰向你們討這些、使你們踐踏我的院宇呢。

    [kjv] When ye come to appear before me, who hath required this at your hand, to tread my courts?

    [bbe] At whose request do you come before me, making my house unclean with your feet?

1:13 [hb5] 你們不要再獻虛浮的供物．香品是我所憎惡的．月朔、和安息日、並宣召的大會、也是我所憎惡的．作罪孽、又守嚴肅會、我也不能容忍。

    [kjv] Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting.

    [bbe] Give me no more false offerings; the smoke of burning flesh is disgusting to me, so are your new moons and Sabbaths and your holy meetings.

1:14 [hb5] 你們的月朔、和節期、我心裏恨惡、我都以為麻煩．我擔當、便不耐煩。

    [kjv] Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hateth: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear them.

    [bbe] Your new moons and your regular feasts are a grief to my soul: they are a weight in my spirit; I am crushed under them.

1:15 [hb5] 你們舉手禱告、我必遮眼不看．就是你們多多的祈禱、我也不聽．你們的手都滿了殺人的血。

    [kjv] And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.

    [bbe] And when your hands are stretched out to me, my eyes will be turned away from you: even though you go on making prayers, I will not give ear: your hands are full of blood.

1:16 [hb5] 你們要洗濯、自潔．從我眼前除掉你們的惡行．要止住作惡、

    [kjv] Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;

    [bbe] Be washed, make yourselves clean; put away the evil of your doings from before my eyes; let there be an end of sinning;

1:17 [hb5] 學習行善．尋求公平、解救受欺壓的、給孤兒伸冤、為寡婦辨屈。

    [kjv] Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.

    [bbe] Take pleasure in well-doing; let your ways be upright, keep down the cruel, give a right decision for the child who has no father, see to the cause of the widow.

1:18 [hb5] 耶和華說、你們來、我們彼此辯論．你們的罪雖像硃紅、必變成雪白．雖紅如丹顏、必白如羊毛。

    [kjv] Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

    [bbe] Come now, and let us have an argument together, says the Lord: how may your sins which are red like blood be white as snow? how may their dark purple seem like wool?

1:19 [hb5] 你們若甘心聽從、必吃地上的美物．

    [kjv] If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:

    [bbe] If you will give ear to my word and do it, the good things of the land will be yours;

1:20 [hb5] 若不聽從、反倒悖逆、必被刀劍吞滅．這是耶和華親口說的。

    [kjv] But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

    [bbe] But if your hearts are turned against me, I will send destruction on you by the sword; so the Lord has said.

1:21 [hb5] 可歎忠信的城、變為妓女．從前充滿了公平、公義居在其中、現今卻有凶手居住。

    [kjv] How is the faithful city become an harlot! it was full of judgment; righteousness lodged in it; but now murderers.

    [bbe] The upright town has become untrue; there was a time when her judges gave right decisions, when righteousness had a resting-place in her, but now she is full of those who take men's lives.

1:22 [hb5] 你的銀子、變為渣滓、你的酒、用水攙對。

    [kjv] Thy silver is become dross, thy wine mixed with water:

    [bbe] Your silver is no longer true metal, your wine is mixed with water.

1:23 [hb5] 你的官長居心悖逆、與盜賊作伴．各都喜愛賄賂、追求贓私．他們不為孤兒伸冤、寡婦的案件、也不得呈到他們面前。

    [kjv] Thy princes are rebellious, and companions of thieves: every one loveth gifts, and followeth after rewards: they judge not the fatherless, neither doth the cause of the widow come unto them.

    [bbe] Your chiefs have gone against the Lord, they have become friends of thieves; every one of them is looking for profit and going after rewards; they do not give right decisions for the child who has no father, and they do not let the cause of the widow come before them.

1:24 [hb5] 因此、主萬軍之耶和華以色列的大能者說、哎、我要向我的對頭雪恨、向我的敵人報仇．

    [kjv] Therefore saith the LORD, the LORD of hosts, the mighty One of Israel, Ah, I will ease me of mine adversaries, and avenge me of mine enemies:

    [bbe] For this reason the Lord, the Lord of armies, the Strong One of Israel, has said, I will put an end to my haters, and send punishment on those who are against me;

1:25 [hb5] 我必反手加在你身上、煉盡你的渣滓、除淨你的雜質．

    [kjv] And I will turn my hand upon thee, and purely purge away thy dross, and take away all thy tin:

    [bbe] And my hand will again be on you, washing away what is unclean as with soap, and taking away all your false metal;

1:26 [hb5] 我也必復還你的審判官、像起初一樣、復還你的謀士、像起先一般．然後、你必稱為公義之城、忠信之邑。

    [kjv] And I will restore thy judges as at the first, and thy counsellors as at the beginning: afterward thou shalt be called, The city of righteousness, the faithful city.

    [bbe] And I will give you judges again as at the first, and wise guides as in the past; then you will be named, The Town of Righteousness, the true town.

1:27 [hb5] 錫安必因公平得蒙救贖、其中歸正的人、必因公義得蒙救贖。

    [kjv] Zion shall be redeemed with judgment, and her converts with righteousness.

    [bbe] Upright acts will be the price of Zion's forgiveness, and by righteousness will men be living there.

1:28 [hb5] 但悖逆的、、和犯罪的、必一同敗亡、離棄耶和華的、必致消滅。

    [kjv] And the destruction of the transgressors and of the sinners shall be together, and they that forsake the LORD shall be consumed.

    [bbe] But a common destruction will overtake sinners and evil-doers together, and those who have gone away from the Lord will be cut off.

1:29 [hb5] 那等人必因你們所喜愛的橡樹抱愧、你們必因所選擇的園子蒙羞。

    [kjv] For they shall be ashamed of the oaks which ye have desired, and ye shall be confounded for the gardens that ye have chosen.

    [bbe] For you will be put to shame because of the trees of your desire, and because of the gardens of your pleasure.

1:30 [hb5] 因為你們必如葉子枯乾的橡樹、好像無水澆灌的園子。

    [kjv] For ye shall be as an oak whose leaf fadeth, and as a garden that hath no water.

    [bbe] For you will be like a tree whose leaves have become dry, and like a garden without water.

1:31 [hb5] 有權勢的必如麻瓤、他的工作、好像火星、都要一同焚毀、無人撲滅。

    [kjv] And the strong shall be as tow, and the maker of it as a spark, and they shall both burn together, and none shall quench them.

    [bbe] And the strong will be as food for the fire, and his work as a flame; and they will be burned together, with no one to put out the fire.

	[bbe]	For you will be like a tree whose leaves have become dry, and like a garden without water.
1:31	[hb5]	有權勢的必如麻瓤、他的工作、好像火星、都要一同焚毀、無人撲滅。
	[kjv]	And the strong shall be as tow, and the maker of it as a spark, and they shall both burn together, and none shall quench them.
	[bbe]	And the strong will be as food for the fire, and his work as a flame; and they will be burned together, with no one to put out the fire.
